Sub-processors
The companies that help us run Saiela and process personal data on our behalf, so you know exactly who handles your organisation's data.

What this list is
When your organisation uses Saiela, we process its data as your processor under our data processing terms. We use a small number of other companies, called sub-processors, to do that. Each one is bound by a written contract with the same data protection obligations we have to you.
The browser extension checks prompts on your staff's computers, so the text of prompts and answers isn't sent to us or to any sub-processor.
Current sub-processors
| Company | What they do | Data | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Azure | Hosting the console, its databases and storage, and security services | Everything in your Saiela account: users, settings, activity records and documents | United Kingdom (Azure UK South) |
| Microsoft Azure OpenAI (Microsoft Foundry) | The console's assistant, which answers questions about Saiela and your settings | The questions asked, and the account details needed to answer them | Stored in the UK (UK South). Answers may be generated in any Azure region, so there's no regional guarantee for them |
| Cloudflare | Hosting this website, and network security and content delivery in front of the console | Connection details such as IP addresses and the requests your browser makes | United States and Cloudflare's global network (UK-US data bridge) |
| Paddle | Payments, VAT and invoices, as the reseller (merchant of record) you buy Team from | Billing contact, company and address, and payment details (Saiela never sees card numbers) | United Kingdom (Paddle.com Market Ltd), with processing worldwide |
| Amazon Web Services | Sending account and service emails, such as sign-in codes and alerts | Email addresses, names and the content of those emails | United Kingdom (London) |
Changes to this list
We'll email your account's owners at least 30 days before we add or replace a sub-processor. If you object on reasonable data protection grounds, tell us through our contact form within that time and we'll work with you to resolve it. If we can't, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
