About Saiela
Built by SimpleKPI, with the firms who needed it
We're the team behind SimpleKPI. Our customers started telling us the same thing: their teams were pasting client details into AI tools, and they had no way to stop it or prove it was handled properly. So we built Saiela with them.
Where it started
A problem our customers brought to us
SimpleKPI helps more than 1,000 companies keep track of the numbers that matter to them. When AI arrived in everyday work, the same worry kept coming up in our conversations: client details were going into ChatGPT and Copilot, and nobody could see it, control it or show it was done properly.
Many of them hold exactly the kind of data that matters most: clients' finances, employees' details, people's addresses and bank accounts. They didn't want to ban AI. They wanted their teams to keep the time it saves, without the risk.
So we built Saiela with them. Their teams told us what actually gets pasted into AI tools, which tools they use and what their insurers and clients ask for, and that shaped every part of the product.
What we kept hearing
The same four things came up again and again, whatever the business.
Staff were already using AI
Client emails, spreadsheets and notes were going into ChatGPT and Copilot every day, often on personal accounts, because it saved time.
Nobody could see it
Owners had no idea which tools were in use, by whom, or what kind of data went into them.
Banning it didn't work
Blocking AI just pushed it onto phones and home laptops. The time savings were too good to give up.
Someone would ask for proof
Insurers, clients and auditors were starting to ask how the firm used AI, and there was nothing to show them.

The check happens in the browser, so we never see what anyone types. Our customers were clear about this: a tool that collected their client data in order to protect it would be no use to anyone.
Keep people working
Swap and restore came from the same conversations. People keep using the AI tools they like, and the answer still reads naturally.
